Whether we want it to be or not, stress is present in our daily lives. Stress can be experienced in different ways by different people and does not necessarily need to be viewed as a negative, chronic experience or condition. This course explores the nature and reasons for stress, different kinds of stressors and enables you to assess and manage the stress in your personal and work lives. When we manage our stress more effectively, we are able to be more productive, healthy and satisfied with life overall, making stress management an essential life skill.
