Diversity, Equity and Inclusion have become buzzwords globally, particularly given the impact of globalization and the need and drive for a more inclusive global culture. This course in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion introduces the learner
to important terms and concepts, various perspectives on the topics and practical tools for managing Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
Part 2 looks at understanding the connection between Employment Equity and Diversity and Inclusion. The focus will be on why it is important to manage diversity and inclusion at the workplace. Three different drivers/perspectives will be explored,
namely Legal-, Ethical- and Strategic perspectives.

- Legally driven understanding of diversity and inclusion (affirmative action and employment equity).
- Ethically driven understanding of Employment Equity and Diversity and Inclusion (Moral and Ethical imperatives).
- Strategically driven understanding of Employment Equity and Diversity and Inclusion (Behaviours and Policies contributing to organisational goals and objectives).
